The good:
The last 2 days have been pretty busy around here. We spent a few days doing some upgrades on our site - cosmetic for now - to accommodate the spa deal that we had agreed with The Atlantis. The result: over the course of 40 hours we had total deal sales of over AED 220,000. What was amazing to us was that of the 325 vouchers we sold for this deal, only 1 transaction was paid for in cash. The remainder were pure e-commerce transactions. I’ve said for a while now - probably a year now at least - that given great value and a proper platform, that the will was there for e-commerce. The last few days is a good step in that direction.

There’s a great - and very grassroots - charity started in Abu Dhabi recently called Building Walls of Wisdom that raises money to build small schools in communiities of need. GoNabit has decided to support BWOW and we wanted to spread to word on the great work that BWOW is doing. They’ve already raised money to complete projects in Ecuador and Kenya through Free the Children and are currently raising funds for the new project.
Apart from a strong belief in doing things that matter, we also share the belief that people can acheive more through collective action than they are able to achieve independently. BWOW really is a case of committed individuals coming together for good.
